Effective date: September 28, 2026
Vision Engine LLC (“Vision Engine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates visionengine.life and provides the licensed Vision Engine curriculum to educational institutions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how it differs depending on whether you’re visiting this website or using the licensed curriculum as a student at a partner institution.
When you visit visionengine.life, book a conversation through our scheduling tool, or contact us directly, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, institution or organization, and the content of your message or meeting request. We do not collect this information through hidden tracking or third-party data brokers — only what you provide directly.
Our scheduling tool (Calendly) has its own privacy practices governing the booking process; we encourage you to review Calendly’s privacy policy as well.
We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, schedule conversations, and follow up regarding potential licensing, workshops, or partnerships. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
This is the section most relevant to institutional partners and their students, and it is intentionally separate from ordinary website data above.
The Vision Engine curriculum is built on a minimal-collection architecture. Specifically:
• Every student submission from Week 2 onward is private, visible only to the student and their assigned facilitator inside the institution’s own Learning Management System (LMS).
• Vision Engine’s technology (the Front Gate and Pass-Check licensing system) performs only license and seat verification — confirming a student is an authorized, enrolled user — and does not receive, transmit, or store the content of any student assignment, reflection, or submission.
• Student work product never leaves the institution’s own LMS environment and is never transmitted to or stored on Vision Engine servers.
• This architecture is designed to align with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) principles by minimizing what data leaves institutional control in the first place, rather than relying solely on downstream data-handling agreements.
The complete, binding data-handling terms for any given institutional partnership are set out in that institution’s signed License Agreement (see Exhibit C), which governs in the event of any conflict with this general policy.
This website may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to understand general traffic patterns (such as which pages are visited). We do not use this data to build individual profiles or target advertising.
Website inquiry and scheduling information is retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable business record, and can be deleted upon request. Student data within the licensed curriculum is governed by the retention terms in the applicable institutional License Agreement, not by this policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you’ve provided to us through this website by contacting us at the email below. If you are a student in a partner institution’s course, requests regarding your academic submissions should go through your institution, since that data lives in their LMS, not ours.
Questions about this policy can be directed to willie@visionengine.life.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
